Worth the extra cost
While a lot of things aren't worth the premium, these rocks are clearly better than any lava rocks when considering weight and dust. These seem to double the warmth you feel, while using less gas.

Moon Rock Review
Seemed expensive, but after using I'm happy with the purchase. Lightweight and worked well with our Firecan Deluxe. The combination is a nice gear addition during campfire restrictions.

Must have! Little pricey but worth it.
I ran my firecan elite a few times before purchasing the moon rocks. They do a good job of radiating heat and also making the flame look more pleasant.
Overall I’m happy.
They are a little pricey and the shipping cost is high but you’ll forget about that once you use them.
