Radiant Heat System Battery Specifications and Links

Portable power and adventure accessories are becoming more and more ubiquitous every day. Portable battery innovation has continued to accelerate technology like never before and the Ignik Heated Sleep System™ has been designed to take advantage of this. Although there are a wide variety of portable batteries on the market, here are a few recommendations and specifics that can help guide you to getting the most out of your Heated Sleep System™.

INSTANT HEAT MODE (12V)

The Heated Sleep System™ uses 12V power supplies to provide maximum warmth output for frigid nights and the harshest conditions. You will notice the RCS HeatZones™ begin to warm up immediately becoming hot to the touch.
We recommend using a power supply with a 12V Vehicle-Aux connector (Cigarette Lighter)
or a standard 5.5 x 2.1mm barrel connector for the best results and hottest output.

 EFFICIENCY MODE (5V-USB)

The Heated Sleep System can also be powered with common 5V - USB power supplies (USB Power Banks), using the included USB Adapter*. In this "low power" mode you use less power and generate heat to keep you comfortable throughout the night. You will notice the RCS HeatZones(TM) slowly warm up, are not hot to the touch, to provide a baseline level heat to keep you warm at night.
