Topside Heated Blanket

We've used both the first and latest generation of this blanket. I really appreciate the improvements Ignik made between the two versions, it really shows they listen to their customers and then some when improving their products.

We've used the current blanket throughout the last part of Fall and this Winter in our unheated pop top truck camper in Montana. We use this in conjunction with a 25F double bag and in temps from 15F+ (so far), either as a top blanket or underneath. The heated coverage is excellent, especially going over two people. We really love being able to micro adjust the temp and timing setting, depending on the severity of the weather I'll run it for 2-4 hours at bed time on a lower setting and for an hour in the morning at medium before we get up. It sips power without noticing much of a drop from our 500w battery. The wiring is much better improved on this model, it seems like it'll be durable and isn't very noticeable, but long enough to reach from our cabover bed down to the truck bed. The blanket material itself is very nice and would be an effective blanket without power, my wife uses it at home all the time as well.

I have no critiques, in hind sight I would consider or might pickup their heated under pad/blanket as well. I really like having the heat underneath us and it seems very efficient to heat our bed this way, allowing our sleeping bag to capture the rising heat.

Great quality, nice weight to the blanket. Also ordered an AC/DC wall adapter.

I just received two of these from Ignik's BOGO sale and have only used it on my bed at home, but it is awesome! Waiting to use it in the real world on a camping trip in my truck cap while doing astrophotography! Some highlights...
Pros-
1. Packaging was perfect. Too pretty to throw away!
2. I was amazed at how little power it draws from my AC70 and an occasional check during the night showed power draw actually at zero, so it must cycle on and off.
3. The inside material is great and doesn't slide around during the night and stays put.
4. Love the controller with it's ease of use.
Cons-
1. Wish the stuff sack was larger or they had a video of how to actually get the blanket into the darn thing-minor.

Overall- Love the Ignik Topside Blanket!

This product literally lasted less than one night on a week plus ski trip (tested prior to trip for a few minutes). The 12v plug will show power then when the control is plugged in it’s now dead. My camper only uses 12v or USB outlets. Luckily my propane heater will keep me warm on the Powder Highway I’ll just be using more propane since this product is basically a $200 blanket now. 12v outlet seems good, blanket is probably good…but, the controller seems to be absolutely garbage. Not worth $200 when you can get a $40-60 blanket on Amazon that will probably work better.

Costumer service was so nice to send me another blanket but it’s still not hot enough. It’s like warm both portable 2000w ecoflow solar battery and in the car. The zipper broke on my blanket and the stuff suck ripped already. Im sorry it’s cheap. You’re better off buying a 25$ or 40$ heater blanket off Amazon. I don’t understand how Ignik can charge people 200$! For a poorly made product. I love your costumer service best I’ve ever had the the blanket doesn’t make the cut I’ll just buy a feather down blanket
