The positive reviews saying it works with the FireCan are obviously fake. If you read Ignik's replies to other negative reviews, they specifically state that it doesn't work with the FireCan
Like other reviews I bought this item based on the description which is inaccurate, it won't work with any propane standard propane bottles. I bought it on Amazon, and have been told it's not eligible for a return. It's sold with the FireCan, but doesn't work with the FireCan. Don't buy it. I'll be returning the FireCan since it's eligible for a refund and I'm stuck with this hose.
The only reason I bought this was to avoid hauling the 20lb tank out of the bed when using the fire can, and it doesn't work.
There is another review that claims it works, which is why I bought it
Hi Ross, I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience with our propane adapter hose! This adapter hose is meant to be used with a stove or heater that utilizes 1lb green bottles and is not compatable with our FireCans. Our FireCans come with a regulator hose that is required for use with the FireCan due to the regulator. From what you've stated, it sounds like you weren't satisfied with the short length of the hose that comes with the FireCan due to the hassle of hauling your 20lb tank out of your truck. This is completely understandable! To help solve this issue, you can purchase an extension hose that connects to the regulator hose that comes with the FireCan. We don't currently manufacture an extension hose, but it just needs to be is a standard universal propane fitting QCC1/Type 1 extension hose. Feel free to reach out to us via email at customerservice@ignik.com if you ever have any other questions or issues!
Perfect length to enjoy my 20lb tank case seat while watching the fire can deluxe make the moon rocks glow.
Ditch the single-use, little green tanks and use a refillable propane tank. Perfect for my use with my stoves, oven, and heaters and my Ignite 5 lb and 10 lb tanks. The one-star review is unfortunate; the reviewer misunderstood the purpose of the hose (and apparently didn't understand connectivity basics of tanks, hoses, and equipment/gear).
