We suggest letting the Skullet cool down for at least 30 minutes after using. The cook surface is made of cast iron, which is great for holding and radiating heat, but needs time to cool off.
YES! REMOVE HANDLE BEFOER USING. It's very important to remove the handle before using the Skullet. This handle will get very hot if left on.
